If you run iTunes and use the wrong code to restore your iPhone backup, you
will be informed that iTunes could not restore the iPhone because the password
was incorrect.
Step
1:
Download, install and run an iTunes backup password recovery app on computer.
FYI, the
program I used is called iTunes Password Genius.
Step
2:
Add the encrypted backup file to the app.
Sub-procedure
1: Click Open in the software.
Sub-procedure
2: Choose the backup file automatically found, and then tap OK.
Step
3:
Start unlocking the backup password.
Sub-procedure
1: Choose a password attack type and complete related settings.
Sub-procedure
2: Tap the Start button to begin
decryption.
Step
4:
Wait for the backup password to be recovered.
